About New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC)
New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center (NYPCC) is a non-profit, community-oriented mental health organization founded in 1974. Licensed by the New York State Office of Mental Health, we provide mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults throughout the NYC area.
We have locations in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. Each year, we serve over 25,000 individuals, supporting more than 15,000 clients every month. We strive to improve care for NYC’s underserved populations.
We offer psychotherapy, counseling, family therapy, and psychiatry for issues like stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma. Our centers provide care to clients of all ages. Telehealth services are available via telephone or video. Our outreach team also works with school support teams and other community programs, providing workshops and training to families.
We are open seven days a week, with early morning and late evening appointments. Our staff is bilingual and multicultural, and many live in the communities we serve.
We also offer a care coordination program called Gateway to Wellness. Through this program, clients get a Care Coordinator who helps manage their healthcare and connects them to services like housing, benefits, education, medical appointments, and employment. We use evidence-based practices in our treatments. City & State recognized NYPCC as one of New York’s Top Mental Health Care Providers.
