About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep experience in AWS, infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud architecture to lead the modernization, expansion, and operational excellence of our cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage highly scalable, secure, and reusable AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK, while also improving CI/CD pipelines, backup strategies, observability systems, and security frameworks across multiple accounts and environments.
This position requires strong hands-on expertise and the ability to work at both strategic and execution levels. You will conduct infrastructure audits, design standard environments, create architectural roadmaps, and train internal team members to operate and maintain systems independently. You will collaborate with engineering, data, security, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable deployments, secure network access, effective monitoring, and end-to-end automation. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement reusable AWS CDK infrastructure.
- Improve and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Configure secure access, IAM roles, and cross-account permissions.
- Establish database backup strategies (Aurora, Redshift, SQL Server).
- Implement centralized logging and monitoring solutions.
- Support Windows endpoint management (Chef, Ansible, or AWS Systems Manager).
- Document infrastructure and deliver training to internal teams.
- Build S3-based storage and lifecycle rules for large datasets.
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of DevOps experience in AWS environments.
- Strong experience with AWS CDK (Python or C#).
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions CI/CD.
- Experience with:
- Aurora PostgreSQL
- Redshift
- SQL Server on EC2
- EventBridge
- IAM
- API Gateway / Amplify / Step Functions / Glue
- Experience with Chef, Ansible, or AWS Systems Manager.
- Familiarity with OpenSearch, Datadog, or ELK for logging.
Nice to Have
- Experience with event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Docker-based Lambda deployments.
- Knowledge of S3 lifecycle management & large data handling.
- Strong documentation & training delivery skills.
