What You’ll Do
- Play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of software releases.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, quality, and platform engineering, to facilitate the timely and efficient delivery of software updates to users.
- Plan and execute software releases by interfacing with all stakeholder functions of a release, such as the engineering managers, program managers, and product managers.
- Own the release management lifecycle, which includes scheduling, coordinating and managing releases across the organization by measuring progress and mitigating risks affecting the release in scope, quality and schedule.
- Own, maintain, and report on release content and artifacts via release plans and release retrospectives.
- Conduct and report release readiness reviews along with reviewing go-live blockers.
- Manage critical information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, delivery units and notification lists.
- Work closely with the engineering teams to continuously improve the release process by providing collaboration, information management tools, and close integration with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment) systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps or Software Release.
- Work experience to include: (1) 5 years of experience in Release Management. (2) 3 years of experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). (3) 2 years of experience with Program or Project Management. (4) 2 years of experience with Version Control and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
- Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
- 40 hrs./wk.
- Salary: $164,715 to $177,000 per year.

This role is based in San Francisco, California, and we are offering a wage range of $164,715 to $177,000 per year, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-on-performance philosophy, we offer a comprehensive set of benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, wellness reimbursement, and a monthly lunch stipend.
