Job description

SeatGeek believes live events are powerful experiences that unite humans. With our technological savvy and fan-first attitude we’re simplifying and modernizing the ticketing industry.

Our Manager, Workplace Experience owns the day-to-day experience of SeatGeek’s NYC HQ, overseeing facilities, amenities, and the overall environment to ensure it’s conducive to productivity and employee well-being.

You will lead in-person event logistics, support consistency across all US office locations, steward budgets and vendor contracts, and champion employee engagement initiatives. You’ll report into our Director, People Strategy & Employee Experience. If you’re enthusiastic about joining a fast paced tech company, passionate about growing your career within a broader Employee Experience function, and inspired to help curate a workplace that is a true (hybrid) destination…then read on.

What you’ll do

  • Own NYC HQ facilities operations, amenities, and workplace services to deliver a high-quality in-office experience; proactively identify improvements and resolve issues quickly
  • Manage and develop the Receptionist role: schedule coverage, set SOPs, coach performance, and ensure front-of-house operations meet SeatGeek standards
  • Lead end-to-end onsite event logistics (space planning, setup/breakdown, catering, AV/equipment, supplies) in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Plan and support company events, coordinating logistics and vendor management, ensuring alignment with company culture and objectives
  • Establish and maintain standards across all US office locations, ensuring consistent policies, vendor quality, hospitality, and workspace experience
  • Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts for office operations and events; track spend, optimize costs, and align with financial objectives
  • Design, market, and execute employee engagement initiatives that strengthen culture and connection, with inclusive options for remote employees when possible

What you have

  • 5+ years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years of experience running workplace or facilities operations with a focus on hospitality, service quality, and continuous improvement
  • Strong event operations skills with the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute multiple concurrent programs
  • Proven financial acumen: budgeting, vendor negotiation, contract oversight, and cost optimization
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills: able to influence, align, and collaborate across teams
  • Operational rigor and attention to detail: you proactively manage processes, inventory, and workflows to keep the office running smoothly

Perks

  • Equity stake
  • Flexible work environment, allowing you to work as many days a week in the office as you’d like or 100% remotely
  • A WFH stipend to support your home office setup
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Up to 16 weeks of fully-paid family leave
  • 401(k) matching program
  • Student loan support resources
  • Health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Up to $25k towards family building and reproductive health services
  • Gender-affirming care support program
  • $500 per year for wellness expenses
  • Subscriptions to Headspace (meditation), Headspace Care (therapy), and One Medical
  • $120 per month to spend on tickets to live events
  • Annual subscription to Spotify, Apple Music, or Amazon music

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $126,000 USD. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
