Title: Independent Contractor โ€“ CPT-10292 Administrative & Operations Virtual Assistant (Construction / Home Services) / Junior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Client is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Administrative & Operations Virtual Assistant to support day-to-day business operations. This role is ideal for someone who can take initiative, help build systems and SOPs from scratch, and grow alongside the business. The first few months will involve a learning curve, after which processes will become more streamlined and systemized. The VA will work closely with the owner to manage administrative tasks, project tracking, client support, and operational reporting.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • Administrative & Executive Support

Manage calendar scheduling and appointments

Monitor and manage email inboxes and client communications

Assist with gathering and sending client-requested information

Handle Certificates of Insurance (COIs) requests and follow-ups

Provide general day-to-day administrative support

  • Project & Operations Support

Track projects, time, and costs across jobs

Generate job costing and project reports

Export time-tracking data into spreadsheets for analysis

Support workflow organization and task prioritization

Help ensure projects and tasks stay organized and on track

  • Systems & SOP Development

Help create, document, and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Organize processes and systemize recurring tasks

Work independently to determine best approaches for new tasks

Communicate clearly about access, tools, or information needed to complete tasks

  • Lead & CRM Support

Assist with lead tracking and basic lead scoring

Support efforts to find and organize potential new clients

Monitor and manage CRM systems

Assist with email and lead workflows as systems are built

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Tools & Software (Preferred Experience)

  • Connecteam โ€“ time tracking and project reporting
  • Housecall Pro โ€“ CRM (preferred, not required)
  • GoHighLevel โ€“ CRM and marketing automation (preferred, not required)
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Calendar)

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Clientโ€™s requirements:

  • Experience as an administrative, operations, or project support VA
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal SOPs initially
  • Comfortable building systems and processes from scratch
  • Experience working with contractors, trades, or home services is a plus
  • Basic understanding of plumbing or electrical services is a plus (not required)
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: 7:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM EST Alternative schedules (e.g., 9:00 AM โ€“ 6:00 PM EST) are acceptable

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VAโ€™s schedule with the Clientโ€™s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
