Title: CPT-11551 Creative Marketing & Shopify Virtual Assistant
Independent Contractor – CPT-11551 Creative Marketing & Shopify Virtual Assistant/Marketing VA/Entry-Senior Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
An established home decor and furniture retailer is seeking a creative Marketing VA to support marketing-material design, Shopify website updates, weekly newsletters, social content, and short-form video editing.
The brand has a modern, natural aesthetic, so the client is particularly interested in a candidate with a strong visual sense and a portfolio demonstrating clean, polished creative work.
The immediate need is execution rather than high-level marketing strategy.
The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
Creative & Marketing Materials
- Design marketing materials using Canva or a similar platform
- Create on-brand promotional graphics and digital assets
- Maintain consistent visual standards across marketing materials
- Work from client-provided direction, images, and brand assets
- Support recurring promotions and marketing initiatives
Email Marketing
- Design and prepare the weekly newsletter using Flodesk
- Format images, content, links, and calls to action
- Maintain brand consistency
- Assist with routine email-marketing updates and revisions
Shopify Website Support
- Make visual and content updates within Shopify
- Update images, banners, product-related content, and page elements
- Maintain clean, consistent presentation across the website
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine website maintenance
- Coordinate with the client on larger changes requiring approval
Social Media & Video
- Edit client-provided B-roll, photos, and videos into short-form content
- Create Reels for Instagram and Facebook
- Use CapCut or similar tools for editing
- Assist with social-media content preparation and publishing
- Repurpose existing assets into appropriate social formats
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- Graphic-design or digital-content experience required
- Canva experience required
- Shopify experience strongly preferred
- Short-form video-editing experience required
- CapCut experience strongly preferred
- Social-media content experience strongly preferred
- Email-marketing experience preferred
- Flodesk experience is a plus
- Home decor, furniture, lifestyle, retail, or e-commerce experience is a plus
- Strong portfolio required
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Creative with a strong visual eye
- Comfortable working within an established brand aesthetic
- Experienced with Canva and Shopify
- Strong short-form video-editing ability
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable receiving raw assets and turning them into polished marketing content
- Social-media savvy
- Able to execute independently from client direction
- Interested in growing into a larger marketing role over time

Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 10 Hours (Hours may increase based on performance and workload)

- Daily Working Time: Flexible CST
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
