Job Description

At Gousto, data is at the heart of everything we do. As our Head of Analytics, you will lead a multidisciplinary team of BI developers, product analysts, data analysts, and analytics engineers. Your team sits within our cross-functional squads and tribes (including Digital Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Food, Operations and Supply Chain), and your mission is to elevate data-driven decision making across the business.

Reporting into the VP of Data, you will help define the analytics strategy, shape impactful insight and experimentation frameworks, and build strong relationships across the company. This role is a brilliant opportunity to influence how Gousto continues to deliver customer value through data and innovation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing analytics function delivering data products, reporting, insight and experimentation across the business
  • Translating Gousto’s business strategy into a prioritised 3-12 month analytical roadmap for your domain
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and structuring ambiguous problems to deliver measurable business value
  • Lead efforts to design and evaluate experiments that drive a great front-end customer experience
  • Foster collaboration across the wider data community and working closely with the Data Engineering, Data Governance and Data Science teams
  • Scale and develop a talented, diverse team through coaching, mentoring and hiring maintaining a high technical and operational bar
  • Foster collaboration across embedded analysts, ensuring consistency and alignment in ways of working
  • Partner with teams including Data Engineering, Data Science and Governance to drive data quality and accessibility
  • Represent the analytics function at senior leadership forums, shaping priorities and delivering measurable impact
  • Contribute to the growth of the wider data community, creating a supportive and inclusive environment

Who You Are

  • A collaborative, strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • An Analytics leader with a track record of developing customer-facing data products with measurable impact
  • Experienced in leading and scaling analytics teams with a focus on developing others
  • A strong leader of large technical teams, including hiring and developing a strong management layer within
  • Ability to distil complex ambiguous problems into simple, actionable insight
  • Adept at using data and insight to drive meaningful impact and decision-making
  • Skilled at translating business goals into actionable analytical roadmaps
  • Strong technical understanding of analytics tools, experimentation and data modelling
  • Experienced in engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing strategic direction
  • Ideally, a background in a fast-paced, customer-facing ecommerce environment (e.g. subscriptions, food, physical operations)
