Role Overview
The HR Coordinator will play an important role in supporting the HR function for a rapidly growing Global Capability Center (GCC) in Bangalore. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless HR operations, compliance, and employee experience for a workforce of 300+ employees. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic, startup-like environment with evolving processes.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, HRIS updates, asset allocation and induction programs
- Gather feedback from new hires on onboarding experience and suggest improvements
- Support or coordinate HR programs, awareness campaigns and training sessions
- Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS (Oracle, HRStop) and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (PF, ESI, insurance, BGV)
- Coordinate with IT, Facilities, and vendors for employee lifecycle events (joiners, exits, reporting changes)
- Administer benefits, insurance, and assist with statutory filings; liaise with external partners for timely processing
- Ensure all HR processes adhere to company policies and local labor laws
Employee Experience & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and support requests
- Facilitate new hire orientation and cultural induction; promote a positive and inclusive workplace
- Support employee engagement initiatives, internal communications, and feedback mechanisms
- Assist in organizing employee events, wellness programs, and recognition activities
Data Management & Analytics
- Maintain and update employee master sheets (India and Global); ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
- Track probation reviews, confirmations, and performance milestones
Process Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Support HR projects related to policy development, automation, and digital transformation
- Participate in audits, compliance checks, and process documentation
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Finance, IT, and Facilities teams for cross-functional HR activities
- Coordinate with external vendors for background verification, insurance, and statutory compliance
Performance Management
- Coordinate quarterly/annual performance review cycles, including scheduling, reminders, and documentation
- Maintain, track and administrate Performance improvement plans
Employee Relations
- Maintain logs of employee relations cases, grievances, and resolutions
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on HR experience, preferably in a GCC, MNC, or startup environment
- Strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and best practices in a scaling organization
- Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and digital collaboration tools preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain confidentiality
- Experience with HR analytics, process improvement, and project management is a plus
