Role Snapshot
- Role: Associate Director, Contracts, Procurement, and Pricing
- Location/Type: Remote (U.S.) • Travel a few times per quarter
- Pay: $165,000–$180,000 base • $200,000–$220,000 OTE
- Schedule: Full-time
- Team: GovCon advisory services
This is a deputy role with teeth. You’ll partner directly with the Director to run and scale a critical service line. You’ll lead clients, coach managers, and help future-proof the function as the business grows and shifts toward firm fixed price delivery.
What you’ll do
- Act as #2 to the Director across contracts, pricing, and procurement
- Lead complex client engagements across multiple GovCon clients
- Serve as senior escalation point for contract strategy and execution
- Translate FAR-driven requirements into practical, client-ready solutions
- Drive process improvement tied to pricing and FFP delivery
- Build forecasts and inputs for staffing and revenue planning
- Coach and develop managers and senior consultants
- Review high-risk deliverables before they go to clients
Must-haves
- Deep experience in government contracts (services-heavy)
- Strong FAR, contract types, and compliance knowledge
- Consulting or multi-client delivery background
- Experience advising small to mid-sized GovCons
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Executive presence with clients and internal leadership
Nice to have
- Pricing exposure beyond T&M models
- Experience supporting FFP transitions
- Background in outsourced contracts or advisory firms
