Key Duties & Responsibilities:
User Management & Basic Maintenance
- Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permission sets, ensuring secure and appropriate access.
Update fields, page layouts, and dashboards as requested, adhering to SOPs and best practices.
Minor Enhancements & Simple Automations
- Implement and troubleshoot automations, from basic to advanced (e.g., simple Flows, Process Builder updates), to enhance data accuracy and streamline user tasks.
- Work with the AMS Lead to prioritize and deliver minor enhancements that enhance user experience without increasing system complexity (technical debt).
New Hire Onboarding (Core Salesforce Functionality)
- Provide introductory training sessions and reference materials for new employees, covering essential navigation, object structures, basic record management, and reporting.
- Respond to initial “how-to” inquiries, ensuring new hires quickly gain confidence using Salesforce in their daily work.
Data Quality & Documentation Compliance
- Monitor data integrity, perform basic deduplication tasks, and address data inconsistencies as needed.
- Update documentation and SOPs after each minor enhancement or configuration change, maintaining a clear record of updates and following established naming conventions.
EOS Alignment & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to EOS-driven goals (e.g., Rocks, scorecards) by executing minor enhancements on schedule and maintaining accurate SLA metrics.
- Identify small process improvements and propose incremental refinements to the AMS Supervisor, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.
KPIs:
≥95% on-time completion of routine tasks and minor enhancements
Positive feedback from new hires on initial Salesforce training and reduced “how-to” inquiries in their first month
Consistent data quality metrics (e.g., fewer duplicates, improved completeness)
Documented improvements to user workflows resulting in simpler, more efficient operations
Adherence to SF Department SOP and Change Management Guidelines.
Top 5 Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Active Salesforce Administrator and Advanced Administrator certifications.
1–2 years of hands-on org administration experience (user management, profiles/permission sets, Lightning setup).
Declarative Development (Declarative Dev App Builder certification; dynamic forms, Lightning pages, custom metadata).
Reporting (Advanced reports, joined reports, executive/team dashboards).
Clear communication and training ability (end-user training evidence)
Other Requirements
Integration/ETL (Data Loader, CSV data quality; Zapier/Jotform a plus).
Security/Governance (Role hierarchy, field-level security, audit trails).
Documentation (Version-controlled SOPs, change logs, release notes).
Testing/Sandbox (Change sets/DevOps Center for minor enhancements).
APEX (Read basic code for troubleshooting) is a PLUS.
Soft Skills (Collaborative, responsive, cross-functional within PST hours).
